Why "Whiskey"? We wish this Golden Retriever to be a bit classic, a bit wild with some attitude in his blood. But what do we got? A sleepy platinum retriever puppy (so light creamy color of his fur), much more like a free style lazy-bone (so soft like there's no bones at all), a pair of dim eyes and looks empty-minded at most of the time.
However, no one will blame him for this. Such a baby puppy, not yet being 2-month old whe I first saw him.
July 10th 2007, the day we took him away from his mom (Nami) and the rest of 2 brothers in Kaohsiung, the separation was sad. Nami licked his face thoroughly then turned away her head, the 2 little brothers started to howl like they know Whiskey was leaving them.
However, no one will blame him for this. Such a baby puppy, not yet being 2-month old whe I first saw him.

Whiskey leaned against me or lay on my lap just to find some warm and the sense of security all the way back to Taipei (we drove ourselves, exhausted). Up to my suprise, he only peed once in the carton we prepared for him.
Basically, Whiskey sleeps a lot as expected. In my opinion, no one can resist his snowy-innocent face. Everyday you'll find him grow fast mentally and physically. He starts to response to his name in 3 days and learned to "sit" down whenever he sees food. The progress is indeed interesting and amazing. The accomplishment is the whole point of raising a puppy, isnt' it?!
Finally, I have to thank Connie, my friend, again for sending this little angle to me. Whiskey really enhances my boring urban life. Even though it's exhausting and desparating sometimes being a dog slave, I enjoy it totally!
